ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) – Illinois State Sen. Mike Halpin announced his reelection plans Thursday morning.
On Tuesday, Halpin said he was making an announcement at 10 a.m. Thursday.
During the press conference Halpin announced his plans to seek reelection.
Trucker Patrick Harlan announced he is running for the Illinois State Senator spot against incumbent Halpin with his top priority being to repeal or replace the 2021 SAFE-T Act, according to Harlan’s website.
